Using LayerGraphs

Creating LayerGraphs, adding LayerNodes and using the LayerGraph editor.

A LayerGraph is a node graph resource that contains LayerNodes. It's edited in the LayerGraph editor.

See What is a LayerGraph and Layer Nodes.

Creating a LayerGraph

A LayerGraph can be created in the filesystem, or from a LayerStack slot.

See Using LayerStacks for how the two work together.

To open a LayerGraph, press the Open Graph button. This opens the graph in the LayerGraph editor.

Using LayerNodes

You can create new LayerNodes by right clicking and opening the popup menu.

You can also drag and drop LayerMaterials from the filesystem into the editor. This automatically creates new LayerNodes with those materials.

Using the Side Panel

When a LayerNode is selected, the side panel appears. This lets you create and load LayerMaterials, as well as change their material parameters.
